Richard performed to an eager and very appreciative audience at the Cornucopia Festival at Turton Tower on Sunday 23rd September.
He read several poems from his latest collection, The Bell of the Silent Tower, including Ulmus, The Evacuation of St. Kilda, Thirlmere, Castlerigg and One Night.
The event was hosted by the fantastic Gordon Zola, who provided some impromptu pieces and witty continuity.
Richard would like to thank the organisers of Cornucopia, principally Stef Portersmith, who carried off a great event!
Richard's reading of Castlerigg has been featured on the Cornucopia CD.
